Join us for our annual Bolton Conference.
The New England Reformed Fellowship (NERF) began the annual Bolton Conference in 1985 to stimulate spiritual growth among God's people and to deepen vital understanding of historic Christian doctrine through the exposition of the Word of God. Every year on the last weekend of October, this conference has hosted two notable reformed men who have spoken in six sessions on matters of biblical and theological interest and importance to those who hold convictions of historic, confessional, reformed theology.

Every year on the last weekend of October, this conference has hosted two notable teachers who have spoken in six sessions on matters of biblical and theological interest and importance to those who hold convictions of confessionally reformed theology.
Meet Our Speakers
We will be joined by Dr. J. Stephen Yuille (Professor of Church History and Spiritual Formation, Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary) and Dr. John W. Tweeddale (Vice-President of Academics and Professor of Theology, Reformation Bible College) to better understand the believer's vital communion with Jesus Christ and its implications toward fellow believers. Our aim is to answer the urge for a nearer and growing communion with Christ and all that flows from it, such that we may sincerely say along with Rutherford: "I am in as sweet communion with Christ as a poor sinner can be; and am only pained that He hath much beauty and fairness, and I little love; He great power and mercy, and I little faith; He much light, and I bleared eyes.”
Biography
Dr. John W. Tweeddale is vice president of academics and professor of theology at Reformation Bible College. He is also a teaching elder in the Presbyterian Church in America, a visiting scholar at Queen’s University Belfast, and a fellow of the Royal Historical Society. He is currently the moderator of the Central Florida Presbytery (PCA) and chairs the Scottish Church History and Theology study group of the Evangelical Theological Society. He previously served as senior associate editor of Tabletalk magazine, as senior pastor of First Reformed Presbyterian Church in Pittsburgh, and as an adjunct professor at Reformed Presbyterian Theological Seminary. He earned his M.Div. from Reformed Theological Seminary in Jackson, Miss., and his Ph.D. from the University of Edinburgh, Scotland. He is author of John Owen and Hebrews and coeditor of John Calvin: For a New Reformation and the T&T Clark Handbook of John Owen.

He is married to Alison, and they have two daughters and two grandsons.
